The AluProfile® door blank is a derivative of the AluTherm® door blank. The difference from the AluTherm® door blank is that a variable bottom rail can be chosen, allowing this door blank to be used as a balcony door, outward-opening garden door, or, with a high bottom rail, as a back door.
The bottom rail of the AluProfile® is insulated, giving this door blank significant thermal advantages over a traditionally stacked (hardwood) door. The surface of the door leaf can be aesthetically routed, preserving the appearance of a traditional raised panel door. Moreover, leaking bottom rails are a thing of the past — in fact, they simply do not exist!
